Lucilla has 15 years of experience in academic research and writing in Philosophy, Anthropology and Critical Legal Theory. She studied at École Normale Supérieure, Paris and Columbia University, New York.

Throughout her career, Lucilla has excelled in various roles, including positions held as a researcher, editor, workshop facilitator, and translator.

As research associate at the Institute for Sustainable Urbanisation (ISU), she is tasked with grant writing and research in order to support the development of engagement projects for sustainable urban interventions. Her focus is the creation of reports analysing community needs in order to address participation gaps and ultimately enhancing communities' role as decision-makers.

Her work and academic pursuits have led her to live in Italy, France, the United States, and Egypt. Lucilla is fluent in three languages — Italian, French, English — and passionate about travels and hidden gems.
