Graham Cheung is a qualified accountant with the UK Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He started his finance career in London and moved to Hong Kong in 1996. A commercially focused finance leader and business partner to senior management, he has helped companies optimise & invest resources to build new partnerships and grow revenues, simplify workflows, develop predictive and actionable business metrics and insights to improve pricing strategy, working capital management, resource allocation, product expansion, and competitive analysis. With a proven track record (UK / India / Hong Kong) across large and medium-sized US, European MNCs and Hong Kong enterprises in the FMCG, energy, fast-moving consumer goods and media sectors to drive business transformation. Served in senior Asia regional finance roles leading and cultivating high-performance teams, benchmarking and sharing best practices to deliver to the bottom line. He was stationed in New Delhi to set up the Economist Group’s first India office, drive its strategy and recruited its first local staff.

Graham’s exposure to the world of architects, interior and product designers came via Perspective magazine. Hands-on, he developed the audience strategy by building partnerships with the Asia design industry associations and increased its circulation sixteen-fold from 1,200 to over 19,000 over three years. He also repositioned its annual flagship “40Under40” and “A&D Awards” events to recognize the best of Asia’s design talents and project managed both these events from 2015 to 2018 to wide industry acclaim.
