ABOUT US

ISU, together with UDP International has developed an improved Smart and Sustainable City Framework focusing on ‘People’, ‘Place’ and ‘Planet’ while highlighting ‘Planning’, ‘Design’, and ‘Smart Thinking’ as key priorities in developing successful and fully sustainable Smart Cities. Technology shall be a tool but not the primary focus to steer city development. The framework illustrates that ‘Smart Thinking, Planning, And Design’ should respect the relationship between people, place and planet, and utilising technology as an enabler, to achieve ‘Smart Living’, ‘Smart Mobility’, ‘Smart Economy’, ‘Smart Governance’, ‘Smart Environment’, and ‘Smart Infrastructure’.
